Common Rooms

Please enjoy these areas during your stay. We offer several common rooms for guests to wander about, relax, and enjoy themselves.

The Living Room

The Living Room is very comfortable to enjoy an afternoon cup of tea or a pleasant conversation with other guests. Enjoy the interior Arts & Crafts architecture noted for its small, paned casement windows and half timbering on the walls.

The Library

This room was originally used as a waiting area for the doctor’s patients. What do you do in a waiting room? Read! It seemed fitting we turn this cozy space into our Library. You will find a well rounded assortment of books and magazines for your reading pleasure. The leather arm chairs are quite cozy for an afternoon perusal. We have a checkout policy for that book you just couldn’t put down.

The Kitchen

Within the kitchen, there is an open butler’s pantry where guests will find a microwave, sink and small frig filled with refreshments, cookies, and ready to make popcorn for your enjoyment at any time day or night.

The Porch

The Porch is very relaxing during the warmer months for reading or just having some fresh air. During the summer months, sit on the porch in one of the Adirondack chairs constructed by Gerry’s father.
